Join Feminist Women's Health Center for our
July Open Community Night
"Women, Memory and Queer Desire"
Thursday, July 24
7-9 p.m.
FWHC Community Room
Feminist Women's Health Center, along with
co-sponsors YouthPride and Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative,
presents Wesley Chenault, author of"Gay and Lesbian Atlanta" and
author Staci Catron of "Women in Atlanta" (Arcadia Publishing).
Chenault and Catron (both of Atlanta History Center) combine their
respective research to discuss and celebrate the history of women in
Atlanta with specific emphasis on the Lesbian community from
1940-present. There will be a book signing following the lecture of
each author's books, provided by Charis Books.

During the week of July 12th through 19th, an anti-abortion group
traveling to Atlanta from out of town is targeting the Atlanta women's
health clinics.
